COMMENTS WE HAVE RECEIVED

We are always delighted to receive comments after our performances and here are just a few that have come our way:

Dear John, We were so delighted with the (Bocking Thanksgiving and Memorial) Service and would like to thank you all so much for adding a very special something to the afternoon.   We have had wonderful feed back regarding the service and I am so pleased you were all able to be with us.   It is always a lovely service but I think this year was the best.   Please pass on our very sincere thanks to Peter, Martin and Nick and I hope we will meet again.
Janet C. Davies (Funeral Directors)

Thank you so much for your beautiful singing yesterday which was enjoyed by so many people. I liked our serenade when you arrived!  - Barbara Kilbey, Hyde Hall Gardens, Royal Horticultural Society

Thanks so much John for your great singing at the Oyster Feast. I heard some of it although was busy of course welcoming guests. Standing up by the Moot Hall was a lovely idea.  Please pass on my grateful thanks to the other guys. The Feast was a wonderful success with all speaking guests coming – Carol Thatcher and Charles Kennedy were really good.  Oh joy of joys………   Ray Gamble, Mayor of Colchester

I just wanted to say a massive thank you for Saturday.   It was truly wonderful!   Mum LOVED you and your co-singers. - Kathy Whitehouse, Manningtree

Thank you so much for giving up time to entertain us last evening.   Everyone enjoyed both your singing and "funnies".   Overall we will consider the evening a huge success and the icing on the cake will be that the Truan Trust will benefit with £250 (gift aided, of course!).   Your fame will spread to Uganda, I'm sure.   Thank you all once again. - Margaret Gibson, Obedience Lodge of Women Freemasons

On behalf of the Organising Committee I am writing to thank you for your invaluable contribution to the entertainment programme in this year's Maldon Victorian Evenings which was thoroughly enjoyed by the many visitors who came along to enjoy the event.   The Committee looks forward to 2009 when the Maldon Victorian Evenings will take place on Thursdays 3rd and 10th December and we hope you will sing for us again then. - Gwynneth Moylan, Maldon District Chamber of Commerce

May I say a big thank you to Ringtones for what you did for us last week (was it really over a week ago?!). You were all great and the Rotary members who attended were genuinely delighted with the evening and especially the entertainment!   We raised just over £441 for the prostate cancer charity.   You and the guys are an enormous credit to Barbershopping!    - Ray Gamble, Rotary

We would like to thank you for the wonderful entertainment you provided which made our first anniversary really special.   The blend of beautiful singing and light hearted humour was tailor-made for our group;  all of the ladies have commented on how professional you are.   Thank you once again. - Marion Pidgeon, Rose Madder Reds of Benfleet
